Staying longer
If you would like to have a longer holiday after the Apprenticeship there are many wonderful sights to see on Vancouver Island (the scenic west coast of Vancouver Island or Victoria – the Provincial capital) as well as in Vancouver. Check out the British Columbia web site at www.hellobc.com

Clothing
Bring clothing suitable for cool wet weather or warm sunny weather (it can be either at this time of year). Comfortable clothing is a good idea for the seminar however you may also want to bring “party” clothes for the celebration dinner. Also bring footwear for walking on the beach and tidal flats, a bathing suit for the pool and hot tub, plus if you want to play tennis bring a racquet and tennis shoes. There is often a basketball game happening in the mornings as well as yoga classes. A flashlight is a good idea.

Food & Snacks
You will be having buffet lunch daily at the resort. Please let us know if you have a special food request that we can give the resort. Tigh Na Mara sells snacks only. If you need any special food or beverages please bring them with you. Grocery stores are located 10 minutes from the resort and taxicabs are available. Also there are people with cars who will be driving into Parksville to shop.
